READING NUMBERS AND YEARS (5TH PRIMARY)

In the OPEN UP STARTER UNIT we are reading texts with many NUMBERS. It is important to improve the speed in reading including numbers and years that sometimes make more difficult the reading task. Here you have some interesting information you have to remember to say the numbers very quickly.

1000 = ONE THOUSAND

100 = ONE HUNDRED

3257 = three thousand two hundred and fifty-seven

5891 = five thousand eight hundred and ninety-one

On the other hand, we normally read the years two by two:
