In UNIT 6 students are talking about the FUTURE and they're thinking what will they be and what they will do.
WHAT WILL YOU BE IN THE FUTURE???
Write a post about your own opinion. Here's mine. HAVE A LOOK!!!
There weren't many computers when I was at school. Teachers wrote on blackboards and we didn't have new technologies in the class. There were some TV's to watch videos but there weren't any digital cameras or video cameras.
Today there are personal computers and laptops everywhere and the classrooms have got digital whiteboards with projectors, that make easier the learning process.
In the future I will be an english teacher but everything will be different. Students won't be in a class all day and they will learn the subjects outside the school, in contact with the nature and the real life. Teachers will plan the lessons in real places in town and students will practice all the contents in real and meaningful situations.
The means of transport will be faster, ecological and autonomous. You won't have to drive a car because it will go alone.
Everybody will have a robot to do the housework and everything will be tidy when you arrive home. Cooking will be a dream!!! A special robot will make the most delicious food and it will prepare for dinner amazing dishes.
I believe that people designing all these technologies and robots will become more clever because they will develop their brains and intelligence and people just using them will become lazier and more stupid because everything will be done and they won't have to think. SCARY, ISN'T IT???

Now, everyone can or not go to school because they can give you a scholarship. In the schools have got lots of computers and we have a mobile phone. There are news televisions, tablets and much new technology.
In the future, I will be an architect because I love drawing, maths and I like to creative big, but start to create in miniature.
The cars will be flying, the mobiles phones will be large and can then pick up when they call people without talking the phone out of his pocket.
And finally, they have butlers to take care, you will make the food and you will serve.

ResponderEliminarFour centuries ago, there wasn't any electronic gadget. The first computer was very big. The first movil phone was also bigger than the ones that we have got nowdays and they were used only to make calls.
At present, moviles are like small computers and they can do almost every thing. You can use your movil phone to call, to write (an email or a whatsapp), to take a photo, to play games, to learn news...
In the future all our life will depend of an electronic chip, we won´t be able to survive without it.

There are now a lot of technology and there are some robots that serve to clean or cook also in some schools are used whiteboards.

But now, we have many things, is more easy cooking with this things, for this reason I love cooking.
I will be a chef because I think the cooking is a way to expressing yours feelings, and I won't be a critical cook because I don't like criticize the differents foods of differents countries, I think each person have your opinion.
I will have my restaurant too, where we won't have waiters, will have robots very intelligents who will do many works, how cleaning, cooking...

I would like to be a teacher. I imagine a future in teaching my students with virtual glasses that will make them travel to the medieval era, into space, dive into the sea .......
Transportation will be by molecular teleportation, we will travel at the speed of light, all energy will be renewable without contamination, the houses will be intelligent and they will do all tasks.
And most importantly wars or hunger wont exist, world peace will be achieved.
