In UNIT 2 we are talking about an archeological dig and we are totally back in time. Students are learning how people bring history to life, acting out battles or using metal detectors to find ancient objects.
Here I show you one exemple of my last trip to the past. Read it and invent one place you went to and things you found in your back in time trip. WRITE A POST BELOW TO TELL ME YOUR EXPERIENCE!!!
Last July I went for a trip to the TITANIC ruins. The boat was built from 1909 to 1912 and it sank the night of the 14th-15th April 1912 when it bumped into an iceberg. This was its first and last trip.
The TITANIC left Southampton port and it never arrived to New York. 2223 people were on board and 1514 died in this accident.
In my journey, I dived in the water into a special craft and I found lots of objects. I found knives, spoons and forks made of metal and I found some plates and glasses. I found an old table made of wood and the ruins of a big brown door. There were some stairs made of stone and a classical fireplace made of gold in the suite room. It was amazing!!!
Later in the afternoon I went to a café to have a snack with my friends and we talked about the objects we found. I ate a sandwich and I drank a delicious chocolate milkshake.
When I arrived home, I used the internet to look up more information about this fantastic boat and I used the printer to print out some photos. Then I had a shower and I watched TV. I texted my mum to tell her my fantastic experience. It was a great day!!!
THE LAST DAY IS WEDNESDAY 2ND DECEMBER!!!
Yesterday I went to the Alhambra. Which is in Granada. I like to go to historical sites because I like to imagine what life was like in the past. I found a letter. It is made of paper. It is about 300 years old.

I found one coin.It's made of gold.It's about 400 years old.
Its a Roman coin that i found at the beach.
I found three bracelets.They're made of silver.They are about 300 years old.
Later,in the afternoon i went to the museum with my dad,i saw so much of objects from the past,from the Roman's past.
I found a letter,a bowl,knifes and spoons,but i didnt find any rings.
When we arrived home,we played computer games and then we went to a restaurant.
It was fantastic!!!

EliminarLast October I went with my parents to make a route through Cortes de Pallas. There we found the Chirel castle, which is a fortress of Muslim origin that they built in 1349. The man from Cortes de Pallas lived in that castle. In 1748 there was an earthquake and destroyed part of the castle.
ResponderEliminarDuring the route up to the castle we realized the beautiful views that could be seen from the castle.
When we arrived at the castle, you could see the rooms it had and you could climb the two highest towers that the castle had.
Then we went to visit a museum where they had dishes and vessels that they found in the castle.
Then we went to eat with my uncles and I told how I liked the castle.
When I got home I went to the Chirel castle page and put a comment and the photos that we took so that other children can go and enjoy the landscape that I saw.

EliminarLast Agost I went for a Partenon in Atenas. The Partenon was built from 438 to 447 and the Parthenon was brought down by the Persians in 480 B.C.

In my journey, I I went all over the Parthenon looking for objects and I found lots . I found a letter, spoons and bracalets made of clay and I found some dishes and ancient animal bones. I found
an old table made of wood and the ruins of a big structure shaped like an old cupboard. It was amazing!!!
Later in the afternoon I went to a cake shop to have some cupcakes with my friends and later we took some photos in the ruins.
When I arrived home, I used the internet to play video games and look up the photos of the ruins late I used the printer to print all the photos. Then I had a shower and I watched TV. It was a great day!!!

The characteristic image of the Chinese wall dates from the 15th and 16th centuries, when the Ming emperors rebuilt the defensive barrier to the north of their empire in brick and stone, with a series of towers connected by wall panels.
Along the wall the towers were located at the appropriate distance to quickly transmit the alarm. On the right, a section of the wall near Beijing.
I found a sword. It is made of metal and vinyl. It was approximately three million years old.I found a vase. It is made of clay. It is five hundred years old.
Find four armor of some warriors. They were made of metal and gold. They are over eight thousand years old!
Late in the afternoon we went to eat at a restaurant and went to a store to buy some souvenirs.I enjoyned my totally back in time week!

ResponderEliminarThe other day I went to St. Peter's Church in Teruel to see the tombs of teruel lovers. In the thirteenth century, a rich merchant had a very beautiful daughter, she was called Isabel de Segura, and a poor boy named Diego de Marcilla, they met at the market and fell in love. He confessed that he would ask her to be his wife, she said he wanted the same thing but that his father would not accept it. He proposed that if he wanted the saldria he would go out to get money but that he would wait five years. After many years her father insisted that she get married, seeing that the five-year term was running out. Her father prepared the wedding, but just that day at night Diego showed up and said "kiss me I'm dying" she replied that she didn't want to, so he died. She agreed I'd go kiss him before he was buried. I kiss her so hard she died. The decorned people who would bury them together. When I was able to enter the church I found a brecelet this made of gold, I found two coins their made of metal and finally I found a necklace this made of silver. It was fascinating! Then in the afternoon I went to the library to find more information about the story. I also ate a chocolate ice cream. When I get home, I'll talk to all my friends about the objects I found. She was born in 69 BC and died in 30 BC. She was the daughter of Cleopatra V and Ptolemy XII. She inherited the throne in 51 BC at the age of 17 with her brother, she would be her husband according to the requirements of the laws. She had two children named cesaron and Ptolemy. In the museum I discovered all kinds of things from paintings to mummies,this museum opened its doors in 1793.
This museum is the national museum of france for boht fine arts and archeology,there were many rare and curious objects that I could find as:
I found a Mona Lisa picture i´ts made of canvas i´ts about 517 years old.
I found 3 mummies they´re very anciant,and they come from Egypt.
I found a queen bracalet this bracalet it was the queen it´s made of gold and silver it´s about 350 years old and
I found a france bowl it´s made of clay and cooper it´s the oldest bowl in france.
Later in the afternoon I went to the cinema to watch a scary film,I ate pizza and vegetables to dinner and in the night I went to my bed to slep.
I didn´t go to the torre eifel because it´s closed or I didn´t eat sweets because my family it´s very healty.It was fantastic!!!

ResponderEliminarDracula's Castle is a medieval fortress located in Romania, which enjoys a great tourist attraction since it was the former residence of Vlad Tepes, the emperor of that time.
2 years ago when I went to see my family in Romania, we went to the Castle to investigate and I found very fascinating objects. I found 3 knives and 6 spoons, both were made of metal.They're about 643 years old.I saw plates and cups were made of ceramic. They're 415 years old.I found, many more things but the objects that I liked the most were rings and bracelets. There were combs with extraordinary decorations !!! It was very interesting !!
Later in the afternoon, I went to a restaurant called "The Transilvanian restaurant" and we ate traditional Romanian food. Then we met my cousins and I told them everything I had found. At home I used the internet to find more information about the castle.I was impressed with how well the castle was preserved and the best part is that it was created in 1377!!! At night I wrote a letter to all my friends and I went to sleep. I had a great time!!!

ResponderEliminarLast summer I went to a castle that I loved visiting, this is called "Castillo de Manzanares el Real", it is located in Madrid. When I entered, I found several ancient objects.
I found a spoon, it looked like wood, the guide told me I was at least six years old, but since I was a beginner, he didn't know for sure.
I found two knives, they were made of iron and wood, he said they were more or less the same age as the spoon; I found the spoon and the chicks together in a display case.
I also found a bowl with the rest of the cutlery, it was made of clay and it was quite old.
As I continued the route through the castle, I thought I found a bracelet, but I realized that it was not old because it was made of plastic and a rope, and in addition, it was lying on the ground.
In a room of the castle I found a bracelet and two earrings, they were made of gold and another material, but the dirt did not let me see which, they were also of a certain age but the guide continued without knowing all the ages.
Later in the afternoon my parents and I went to a restaurant to eat, since it was almost five o'clock and we hadn't eaten anything since nine in the morning, and after finishing our dessert we went to a natural park.
In the park we found a pencil of a child who was there previously drawing, my mother told me to look for the child, finally we found him, we gave it to him and we went home.
I loved that day !!! For me, I would repeat it.

EliminarLast summer I visited The Caves of Drac . It was a very cloudy day and it was cold.
ResponderEliminarThe Caves of Drac are located in the town of Cullera and to enter you have to climb a lot of steps since it is at the top of the mountain.
When I entered the cave a cold and humid air chilled my blood. As I went further inside and the guide explained , I imagined how at that time the pirates kept their treasures there.
At the end we reached the room where there was a pirate ship with a skull and the noise of the sea along with the thunder and the play of lights made me see as if at that moment the pirates would reach the shore of the cave and unload their treasures.
It was inpressive.Fantastic .It was a day not to forget.

ResponderEliminarLast week I visited the Castle of Sagunto with my family, we walked around and saw many ancient objects.
I found a bracelet made of minerals, it was very pretty.
I also found a bowl, made of silver and many stones made of minerals.
Before we left, we went up to the top of the castle because the views were fantastic.
in the afternoon we came home and went shopping, then I went down to the street with my friends.
It was a very cool day.

ResponderEliminarI went last year to see the "Moais" on Easter Island.
They were built by the mysterious inhabitants, of the island, and they built about thousand "Moais".
They believed it improved the harvest and prevented the volcano from exploding.
I discover lost of fantastic objects.
I found one spoon. It's made of gold.It's ancient.
I found one glass. It's made of crystal. It's ancient.
I found ten houses. It's made of straw.It's very ancient.
Later in the afternon, We climbed the volcano on the island and could see everything; the "Moais",the beach and everything on the island.
It was fantastic!!!

EliminarHello mariajose last July I went to Tiananmen Square, it is a square located in Beijing, built and designed within the urban plan of the capital of China, with the creation of the People's Republic of China in 1949, becoming a symbol of the new China I found lots of objects. I found bowls necklaces and combs made of clay I found spoons and forks. Later in the afternoon I went to the restaurant to eat hamburgers and I talked whit my mother about my adventure. When i went home i use the internet to research some information about the site. Then i had a shower and i played video games. I had a great time!!!

EliminarLast summer I went with my parents to the Great Wall of China I walked 21,200 km.It is located on a large mountain with really impressive views! There are small ruins made of gray stones and bricks and some super narrow brown stone paths. The wall was built between the 5th century BC. C and the 16th century My parents and I got really tired, but it was worth it, it was a lot of fun

EliminarLast summer I went to the Castle of Alarcón with my family and we were totally back in time.
ResponderEliminarThis Castle has more than trirteen centuries of history.It's an árab Castle conquered by Alfonso VIII in 1184, sorrounded by a wall and located next to the Júcar River in the province of Cuenca.
Currently it's reformed and has a nice restaurant.
In my journey we decided to use a metal detector and looking for near the river.
My dad and I found some árab coins made of metal and a bowl made of stone, that had inside a letter made of ancient paper.It was amazing!!
We gave the objects to the museum, so that everyone can see them.
Later in the afternoon I went to the restaurant with my family and we talked about the objects we found. I ate a Sandwich and I drank an orange juice.
When I arrived home I used the internet to look up more information about Alarcón and used the printer to print out some photos.
Then I played computer games and I thought about my fantastic experience.
It was a great day!!

ResponderEliminarLast week I went to Sagunto's castle with my family.This castle it have a lot of ruins, the most past is in ruins.I think it's fantastic.Muy dad found aroman letter and a knife, my sister founds a necklase and a cup.My mum found a necklase. I found two coins and earings. Un the afternoon I went to my grandparents house in Sagunto, my granddad didn't found any bit muy grandma found a bowl. At night I wnt to home to look up some information of the romans.

A month before the confinement, I went to a prehistoric museum located in Madrid, which was inaugurated in 1968. In the museum there was everything, I found a knife that was made of wood and metal, there were also two bracelets made of metal. In addition, there were several fossils, and lastly there were dinosaur remains.
