HI EVERYONE!!! WE ARE ALREADY FINISHING OUR ARTS AND CRAFTS COURSE!!! IN THIS LAST PROJECT I ASKED YOU TO DRAW A SELF PORTRAIT LOOKING AT YOUR PHOTO. YOU HAD TO REPRESENT YOUR FACE IN PENCIL AS REAL AS POSSIBLE IN A DIN A4 TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE SIZE OF THE CARDBOARD AND THE SYMMETRY WHEN DRAWING THE PICTURE.
AFTER THIS PART OF THE PROJECT WE ARE GOING TO DESIGN AN EXPRESSIONIST PORTRAIT WITH SOFT WAXES CREATING SHADOWS AND DEPTH AND USING THE COLOURS TO EXPRESS OUR FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS.
WHAT IS AN EXPRESSIONIST PORTRAIT???
EXPRESSIONIST ARTISTS DON'T PAINT THE REALITY AS IT IS. EXPRESSIONISM IS THE DEFORMATION OF THE REALITY TO SHOW THESE FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS THAT THEY HAVE INSIDE AND ARE PART OF THE HUMAN BEING. ONE WAY TO REPRESENT THESE FEELINGS IS WITH DARK COLOURS IF THEY'RE SAD OR MELANCHOLIC OR BRIGTH COLOURS IF THEY FEEL HAPPY, OPTIMISTIC AND POSITIVE.
HERE YOU HAVE SOME EXEMPLES THAT CAN HELP YOU WITH YOUR CRAFT. GET READY FOR THIS AMAZING SECOND PART OF THE PROJECT AND DO YOUR BEST!!!
