WRITING A BOOK OR A FILM REVIEW (6TH PRIMARY)

In UNIT 4 students are learning how to write a film, play or book review. Here you have an exemple of my favourite book and film reviews. Have a look!!!

 My favourite book is "THE ALCHEMIST". I read it some years ago. The author is Paulo Coelho. He's brazilian. I really enjoyed the book. Santiago was an andalusian shepherd who had the same dream every night. One day, he decided to look for his dream travelling around lots of countries to find a treasure. He was very confident and kind. He was more generous than many people he found in his trip. He was the least mean character in the book. 
This book talks about the sense of life and how we have to fight for our dreams. 



My favourite film is "La La Land" or "City of Stars". I watched it in the cinema two years ago and I had a very good time. It's a musical film directed by Damien Chazelle. The main characters are Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling.
In the film Mia, a waitress who dreams with being a famous actress meet Sebastian, a lonely boy who dreams with being a jazz musician and own his club. They fall in love and start a relationship but it's going to be hard to stay together.
Mia is very kind, beautiful and clever. She's kinder than Sebastian. She's shier than him too. Sebastian is more confident than Mia. At the end of the film Mia becomes the most famous actress in Hollywood.
The film is absolutely great and lively. It's amazing and gorgeous, funny and wonderful. I really love it!!!

I want to be a four stars Michelin cook. Last week I cooked a delicious lasagna and I prepared an spectacular roast beef for my family. I'm sure I'm very good at cooking and I can win lots of prizes at cooking competitions.

WRITE SHORT STORIES (6TH PRIMARY)

IN UNIT 4 WE ARE TALKING ABOUT STORIES AND CHARACTERS. THE NEXT ACTIVITY FOR MONDAY IS WRITING SHORT STORIES IN TWO OR THREE LINES THAT SHOULD BE MEANINGFUL, FUNNY OR INTERESTING. HERE YOU HAVE SOME EXEMPLES:

AT A TRIAL (6TH PRIMARY)

OUR 6TH PRIMARY STUDENTS HAVE DEVELOPED 
A TRIAL IN THE CLASS AS THEIR ORAL ACTIVITY. THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN SO GREAT!!! 
THEY'VE BEEN LAWYERS, PROSECUTORS, JUDGES, ACCUSED AND WITNESSES OF A ROBBERY AT ROOFTOPS. HERE YOU HAVE SOME FANTASTIC PHOTOS OF THE ACTIVITY, THEY LOOK SO NICE!!!
